AFTER ‘CONSCIOUSNESS’
The “After ‘Consciousness’” Workshop Series is an interdisciplinary initiative jointly collaborated by the HKU AI & Humanity Lab and the Berggruen Research Center at Peking University. Launched as a structured experiment in conceptual engineering, this series brings together philosophers, cognitive scientists, AI researchers, ethicists, and scholars from diverse fields across Asia.

A collaboration between the Berggruen Institute and Peking University, the Berggruen Research Center at Peking University is a hub for East-West research and dialogue dedicated to cross-cultural and interdisciplinary studies of the transformations affecting humanity.
